Choose your own clients, set your own hours, and get paid directly. Before you sign up, here are two things to know and what you'll need to get approved.
You won't be a BTR employee
Read this carefully before signing up.
- You'll be an independent contractor, not an employee
- You'll have, or will get, an Australian Business Number (ABN)
- You're responsible for your own tax and super
What you'll need to get approved
You can sign up with just a name + email; you'll complete these once you're in.
- A mobile number
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check (required for all services, including aged care)
- At least 2 references (professional or character)
- The relevant qualifications for the services you want to provide
- For TAS and ACT: a valid Working with Vulnerable People card
- A Working with Children Check if working with under-18s
- A profile photo and a short bio
- An ABN to get fully activated and start taking bookings
